East London’s Flashback Records is a mecca for vinyl-collecting raveheads, offering the history of dance music at the fingertips. No wonder former employee Rose’s breakthrough tune ‘B.O.T.A. (Baddest of Them All)’ with Interplanetary Criminal had something of all the greats in it, nodding to ‘00s UK garage and the house scenes all over the world, on its way to Number One in the UK last year. Expect more bangers to spice up this summer’s festival sets.
