Fresh off of her breathtaking debut EP ‘GOOD GIRLS // BAD GIRLS’; a collection of sounds that were described by DAZED as “a solid statement from a producer with a talent for the percussive side of club music”, and ultimately resulted in the artist being named in the NME 100 ‘Essential Emerging Artists 2023’ list, Surusinghe has committed another crime of sound, with ‘Likshot’.
‘Likshot’ is the latest single from the Aussie prodigy, taken from her forthcoming EP, ‘Get Flutey’; a project that the artist describes as the “progression of [her] sound after 2 years back in the clubs.” Speaking about the EP, Surusinghe explains that she “wanted to create something that demonstrated the influences that have inspired [her] the most.”
‘Get Flutey’ is therefore “a testimony to the new and old sounds” that the artist “loves”.
