Chicago house legend Jamie 3:26 collaborates with singer, songwriter and producer Khadeeja Grace to share ‘Speak Your Love’, accompanied by the official video. The track is out now and marks the relaunch of Jamie’s label 3:26 Records

The esteemed producer Jamie 3:26 teams up with the producer and vocalist Khadeeja Grace on this piece of soulful and deeply grooving magic. A track that has been bubbling since 2015 with variations of the track being made throughout the ensuing years, it’s a song about being brought out of depression by the voice of God. With the words fitting the emotional space Khadeeja was in at the time of writing, she poured her entire heart into the spiritual track. On the collaboration that sprung out of an encounter at ADE, she adds: “Being able to work with remix versions of this song with Jame:326 is a true blessing. He understood how important this song is to me and decided to push the message forward.” The track is accompanied by the official video and shows another side of their hometown – Chicago AKA the mecca of house music – otherwise not shown to the rest of the world. The first single to drop on the relaunch of the label (primarily home to underground disco edits), the imprint acts as a vessel to champion young artists as he passes on his legacy to the next generation of producers. On the track, Jamie laments: “When people listen I want them to enjoy the feeling that this song brings them, hear the message and understand the message, feel good, feel love, understand and know there’s love in this music.” This is pure Chicago house with soul and a strong message as they bring Chicago to the world.

As one of Chicago’s finest goodwill ambassadors Jamie 3:26 has become one of the most exciting DJs to emerge from the home of house. His inspirations and mentors read like a history of the city: Ron Hardy, Andre Hatchett, Pharris Thomas, DJ Rush, Mike Williams and the mind-blowing sets of Lil Louis. His first fully-fledged compilation, A Taste Of Chicago, dropped to some acclaim with props from the likes of: Benji B, Mary Anne Hobbs and tastemakers like Ross Allen on NTS and Tim Sweeney’s infamous Beats In Space. The album garnered big props from a wide sweep of peeps, among them Gerd Jansen, Detroit don Amp Fiddler, Hunee, Mr. G and Dan Shake. He aims to be a positive representation of what his hometown is about, bringing the historic culture and delivering a message of good vibes as he shares his music with the world and relaunches his label 3:26 Records.
