Mr Scruff

Manchester-based Mr. Scruff is a producer, cartoonist and cross-genre selector who lives for long, exploratory and eclectic sets that can range from deep soul/funk/disco/reggae/ska/afro/jazz/latin/bhangra/hip-hop to the rougher regions of electro/house/new wave/garage/techno/electronic/D&B, often all in the same evening. Scruff loves a good sound system, mixed crowds, concrete slabs in the booth, dark venues, sound checks, geeking out, and is a big fan of early gigs which allow for a good 7-hour sleep.
